Unlike popular belief, cremation services actually increase your options of how to be memorialized. At Bergen Funeral Service Inc., we offer three different types of cremation services in NJ including complete cremation services, immediate cremation services and direction cremation services. These services differ in the extent of the memorial service and when the cremation is performed.

By choosing our cremation services in NJ, you are offered the option of having your remains scattered or buried. Scattering can be done in a natural environment, among the sea or the stars. Traditional burial involves the burial of the urn on a family plot. No matter what cremation service in NJ you choose, we promise to respectfully carry out your final wishes.

  1. There are obvious religious reasons for selecting the cremation for their loved ones. But despite from religious reasons many people find they prefer cremation to traditional burial for personal reasons. The thought of a long, slow decomposition process is unappealing to some; many people find that they prefer cremation because it disposes of the body immediately.
Other people view cremation as a way of simplifying their funeral process. These people view a ground burial as an unneeded complication of their funeral process, and thus choose cremation to make their services as simple as possible.

  2. My great-grandpa has always wanted to be cremated. At first we never understood why and actually thought he was a little weird for wanting it. Now that I've gotten a better understanding of it, though, I can see the appeal. It's truly a beautiful process. I'm so glad there are still some good cremation services like you guys out there!
